Quality arts and crafts, the finest of West Virginia wines, live bluegrass music and outstanding food – all in the unparalleled outdoor beauty of West Virginia – makes for an outstanding weekend trip. The 38th Annual Spring Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival is set for June 12-14 near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, just an hour northwest of Washington, D.C.

The main feature of the festival is the arts and crafts displays of more than 200 juried artists and craftspeople from 23 states. While alcoholic beverages are to be left at home, wine tasting and sales for off-premise consumption will be part of the attractions. Nine West Virginia wineries will be participating.

Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6-17. Parking, arts/crafts demonstrations, wine tasting and live bluegrass music are included in the admission price.

Patent Pending, Critton Hollow String Band, and Bill Emerson & The Sweet Dixie Band will entertain festival-goers on Saturday and Sunday.

Tom “Cat” Reeder will emcee the music both days. The entertainment schedule for Saturday, June 13:
